Anna Maria Island

On Wednesday, July 27th we left for our family vacation, on the quaint island of Anna Maria. We spent two wonderful weeks exploring all the beaches, swimming, eating at all our local favorites, shopping and seeing some amazing sunsets. This year the whole family went, and the girls loved having their sweet cousins around to play with. We celebrated Haynes, Amy and my birthday. And we also enjoyed time with Haynes' cousin Brandon and his new wife, Liz...they were honeymooning:) As always, we loved every minute of our time away and the beautiful little island we love so dearly!

Thursday we had a fabulous day at the beach! The girls loved riding in the beach carts, and being pushed around. Must be nice! The girls loved the beach, it took a bit for Had to warm up to. We built sandcastles and played in the waves.

Dinner at The Sandbar. The most beautiful sunsets ever. We dined with our family, Brandon, Liz, Aunt Cheryl, Bob and Liz's parents.

Friday, Day 2: The girls got a boat to float in, and we had an adventurous day finding critters in the ocean. We topped the evening off with a trip to get ice cream:)

Saturday, July 30th was Haynes and Amy's birthday. We had a yummy cake for breakfast,  spent the day at the pool and then we went out for a fun night. All the kiddos stayed home with Didi and Pop!

On Sunday we enjoyed our favorite beach on Long Boat Key. The most beautiful sand and the clearest water. It's Dreamy!

Hanging out the Bridge Street Pier. The birds were so much fun to watch, and the girls loved them!
What does your monkey say? The girls love their new monkey,
along with the 25 other stuffed animal they ended up with!

On Tuesday we visited The Mote Aquarium. It was so cool. We loved seeing the Manatees and      the sea turtles and the stingrays!

That night we had family photos taken on the beach. These were a few I snapped with my camera. All the girls looked adorable in their pretty white dresses!
