Hadlee & Reese's First day of School 2011

On Friday, August 28th Had and Reese started Mother's Day out! They were very excited, and they didn't even shed a tear as I walked away. Their teacher's are so sweet, and I'm so excited for them to learn new things. They will be learning Spanish, playing soccer and they also have music class!

Nicole's Baby Dinner

My dear friend,  Nicole is due in September with her second baby girl, Sienna Nicole. In honor of this occasion a few of us put together a special dinner. It was a cooking demonstration/dinner put on by Moda Bella. It was such a fun evening, the food was amazing and we loved watching Nicole open all her cute, frilly gifts!

Play Date Fun!

We have missed seeing our friends this summer. We've been catching up on play dates. Our friend Stella came over to play. We rode around in the house, because it was raining outside. And we had a yummy mac n' cheese lunch:)

The next day, our friend's Jack and Lucy came over to swim. We had so much fun playing in the pool. We snacked outside, and guess what we had for lunch?....Mac n' cheese:)

A Big Girl Bed for 2!

When we returned from Florida we decided it was time for Hadlee to have a "big girl bed". We have had sleeping issues with her all summer, and it was worth a shot to try something new. Little did we know, though, that Reese would want to sleep with her sister! This has actually helped Hadlee with her fear of being alone, and she's also scared of the dark. Thanks you Reese!

We can also, finally say that we are potty trained! And for the biggest of all....as of Monday night we are pacifier free!!! Yippee! (New pic to come:) ). We have made some huge steps this summer, and I am so proud of my big girls!

Reagan's "Tangled" Birthday Party

Our sweet niece and cousin, Reagan turned 4 on August 8th! Reagan loves tangled, so there was no question what this year's theme would be. We had cake, opened presents and swam. She is getting so big, and such a little lady.

Anna Maria Island: Part 3

On Sunday, we woke up to these cute jelly faces and hopped on the wave runner with the girls. We went to another great island for shelling and swimming. 

Following up a great day at the beach, we went to the Sand Bar. The girls had to each take a purse, and they each had lip gloss. It was great entertainment watching these little divas:)

Our last day: We decided to head to Siesta Key for the day. It's rated #1 beach in Amercia by the travel channel, and only 40mins away. As soon as we got there and got all of our beach gear set up, it started POURING down RAIN. Luckily we had a big beach umbrella and lots of towels to huddle under!

MY favorite spot to eat is Marvista! We set under the trees, took pics on the doc, and enjoyed a fabulous dinner. Such a wonderful end to an amazing vacation.
