First Dentist Appointment

I made Hadlee a dentist appointment after I noticed the large amount of tissue between her two front teeth that's connected to her top lip. They informed me that this is normal, and something we will fix after she loses her baby teeth and it's time for braces (around the age of 10). She was such a big girl laying in the chair! She chose grape flavored polish, and never fussed once during the check up. She got a great report! Her sweet sister was very intrigued, and was dying to have her teeth cleaned, as well...we told her we would come back soon!

Last day as a "toddler"

This Monday was Hadlee and Reese's last day of school. They are no longer "toddlers" and will now be moving on to the "2 year old class"...wow!! They had a wonderful year, and loved all the fun activities they did throughout the year. Their teacher's Miss. Jenn and Miss Tonya were amazing, and we are so grateful to them for teaching our children! Here are some pics from their last day of toddler class and their first day in August. My, how they've grown:)

On Saturday Erin turned the big 30! We celebrated with a catered, sit down dinner at the Daniels. Nicole set a beautiful table and made yummy birthday deserts! Happy Birthday Erin:)

A fun packed weekend

We had a great weekend enjoying the pool and our company...Brandon and Jamie! On Saturday we cooked out and swam all day. Brandon and Jamie were in town for a wedding and we had a birthday party to attend that evening.
On Sunday we all went church, had lunch at Cedar Ridge, bought a trampoline, watched the boys put the trampoline together, swam some more and jumped all evening long on the trampoline! Whew, so much fun!

Our fun Sunday: Haynes, Brandon and Blake put the trampoline together! It was super hot outside, so after all the hard work we took a nice dip in the pool. The girls were so excited to wake up from their nap and see the trampoline. We have been enjoying it so much:)

Gymnastics

Today was our last day of Mommy and me gymnastics...kind of sad. Last Tuesday they had parents day, and gave medals to all the kids. They girls were so happy that Daddy came to watch them and see all the new tricks they've learned! Sadly, my camera battery died, so some of the pics are blurry iphone pics.

Cabin Time

Hadlee and Reese went to the cabin with DiDi, Pop, Lexie and Sopie while we were at the golf tournament. We spent the rest of the weekend at the cabin, and enjoyed some R&R. It turned out to be a chilly weekend. The girls got new trikes after a trip to Wal-Mart with DiDi and Pop. They had a blast riding around and playing with their cousins!
